Some Finds!

Well, fellow people of the blogosphere, I've had a chance to dive into two exceptional Inkpop projects in the past couple days. One has been in the works for a while, but the other is brand new. I feel they both deserved a little extra attention.

Divided
Someone always has to die.                                                           
Any normal grade-twelve girl would be concerned with the
life-or-death issue of getting a date for prom. Instead, Gen is
more worried about such trivial things as her comatose friend or
the mysterious return of her imaginary childhood playmate. And
the strange men that broke into her house? Well, that's
obviously too small of an issue to even bother thinking about.
Obviously.
Caught up in a strange series of events, Genevieve King is forced to accept that all is not as it seems, starting with herself. Canshe avoid hurting others during her attempts to right the wrongs made centuries ago? Is she even right to?

I, myself, found Divided to be a refreshing read. With Lydia's fresh writing style and believable characters, it was a relief to read and comment instead of a labor. Lydia recently told me she was getting ready to start revising, so I'm sure she could use your comments! I recommend this new look on the paranormal genre to anyone out there!

Next is something I came across in the middle of the night last night, and I'm glad I did.

Angel Or Demon

Savannah Johnson did not believe in angels or demons, but when
she is murdered on the first day of her summer holidays she is
forced into a world where nothing is simple and secrets lurke
behind every corner. She wasn't meant to die at sixteen
years old - she had plans to go to university, get a job, have a
family and finally grow old...but they had plans for her too.

I found what I read of Angel or Demon to be a very stimulating, somewhat thought provoking read. It would also be classified as paranormal, but in a whole different ballpark than Divided. Angel or Demon was just uploaded, so the author could use any feedback you could give.
